What do I need to put a Hellcat supercharger on my LS?

We wanted to share some information from a project we are currently working on here at Red's Speed Shop that may help anyone planning to install a Hellcat supercharger on an LS-swapped OBS truck. There are a lot of different ways to build these trucks, but this is the combination that has worked well for us on one of our customer's builds.

The brackets we used

You may be using a different A/C setup, or not running A/C at all, but this combination worked extremely well for us and required no modifications to the truck.

Frame clearance

Initially, it looked like we were going to have to notch the frame to clear the lower supercharger tensioner pulley. Instead, we installed the bracket and pulley, put the truck on the lift, and used a large pair of pliers to rotate the tensioner into position so we could install the alignment pin. During that process, the tensioner temporarily rested against the frame. Once the correct belts were installed and everything was under tension, we ended up with approximately 1 to 1 and a half inches of clearance between the pulley and the frame.

Gates belt lengths that worked for our setup

The belt lengths originally recommended by ICT were both slightly off for our particular combination, so hopefully this saves someone a little time.

Every build is a little different, but if you are putting a Hellcat supercharger on an LS-swapped OBS truck, we hope this information gives you a solid starting point. If it saves you a few hours of trial and error, then it is worth sharing.
